Jonny Larsen's Story Moves Voters 13.7 Points in New Internal Survey

Salt Lake City - Jonny Larsen For Congress today released an internal survey of 1,270 registered voters in Utah's 4th Congressional District. More than 6 in 10 are dissatisfied with Rep. Kennedy's performance, including nearly half of Republicans. After respondents read a short bio, the share likely to vote for Larsen rose from 45.8% to 59.5%, and among undecided voters it more than tripled, from 14.1% to 47.3%. The independent Utah Debate Commission poll puts him within 8.8 points of Rep. Kennedy.

"It is a snapshot in time, and we do not claim it is a prediction," Larsen said.

"People of every party want something new. Once voters learned who I am, where I come from, and that I served my country honorably as a United States Marine, many more of them were ready to vote for me. They want someone who has lived what they are living and a representative who shows up and listens to their concerns."
