Hi Friend,

It’s Monday, and another week on the campaign trail! What a week!

I joined folks expressing their genuine concerns about the BetterGrid Joule Capital data center at the Millard County Commission. Many worried citizens expressed their issues about the nearly 12-gigawatt, 4,000-acre infrastructure threatening their families’ health and quality of life. Residents in Southaven, Mississippi reported complaints about the constant noise levels the natural gas turbines create. This is not a good trade-off with data centers continuous pull on such a precious resource.

Primary ballots have been sent out! If you haven’t received yours in the mail, request your ballot by June 16th, or vote in-person by June 23rd. This crucial pillar of our government truly puts the power in the people’s hands, and now more than ever is the time to speak out through your vote! In a country with such abundant resource, there genuinely is room for everyone. In a nation where citizens use their right to speak their truth, nobody gets left behind.

Meeting so many of you at the South Jordan SummerFest and Utah Pride Parade & Festival, it’s pretty easy to see there is strength in numbers. This is one of the largest celebrations of LGBTQ+ diversity in the United States! That’s a powerful message. One that includes ALL Americans.
