As we get into the summer season, there are many sounds and smells in the air. The latest one? Smoke from a brushfire at the borders of Tooele, Utah, Juab counties that’s grown to almost 22,000 acres! The entire town of Eureka, UT remains under evacuation orders since Saturday night. I don’t know about you, but I’d say this is yet another clear sign that a data center is not in Utah’s future best interest. We have bigger problems. The health and safety of Utah’s residents, occupants, and its land comes first. Keep public land in public hands!

It was great spending time with some of you at the Sanpete County Democratic Meet and Greet for Breanne Mashek running for House District 66! Follow and support Breanne and help turn Sanpete County blue!

I’m so grateful to have the endorsement of Utah’s longest-serving State representative, Carol Moss. After diligently serving her students as an educator for over 30 years, and serving the citizens of HD 34 since 2000 she’s retiring after another 26 years. Her advocacy for US veterans has helped open up better avenues of treatment for our service women and men.

As a Marine veteran, I’m proud to serve alongside each of my fellow Americans, and would love for you to join me. This campaign really is about creating a better life for all Americans where no one is left behind. Whether your time or your cash, I’m grateful to everyone that contributes to the cause.
