Hi Friend,

Scooby said it best, “ruh-roh!” We’re a little late in the weekly newsletter. We have had a lot of exciting things going on this week, and I am excited to share it all with you. We are going to need all hands on deck as we begin canvassing and going door to door. We will be asking for their support and vote. Mail-in ballots will be sent out in the next 60 days.

Our website shows the below counter now! We looked at getting billboards from now until election and we were quoted $20k!

Please chip in and help me get these billboards to boost our name recognition in our ~22,000 square mile district. Your advocacy to your family, friends, neighbors and even co-workers to do the same goes a long way. There is no “I” in “Team”, and I cannot do this with you.

What we need & what we did this week

Volunteers

Working for a campaign is challenging. Even more so when you are donating your time.

We need to fill some specialty roles as well as have volunteers to accompany us for events, town halls, and canvassers to phone bank and door knock. This is an ALL HANDS ON DECK request!

Senator Cory Booker

Senator Cory Booker was in town and met with many Utah Democrats in Salt Lake and in Park City. I was fortunate enough to meet with him and share why we are a competitive district that would benefit from national party help!

Senator Booker shared inspiring stories that touched everyone who attended. What really stood out to me was his message of hope being a muscle. Check out what he said by clicking here.

Q3 Meeting In Kane County

Huge shout out to Kane County Chair Caralee Woods for all the work that she and her amazing team put into hosting the Q3 central committee meeting in Kanab. See a portion of my speech here

Chair Woods has been a huge supporter of ours for over a year since we first met in May of 2025 at Kane County Convention. I cannot express my gratitude enough for everything that she has done to support me and our campaign.

The food was absolutely amazing and I had a wonderful time. The drive down 89 to view the beautiful red rock is something everyone should experience at least once. If you have not been to Kanab, I highly recommend you go and visit.

Fire devistation continues

As of Friday, August 14th 2026, the Widemouth 2 fire has been 65% contained. On August 7th we lost two brave men who were instrumental in battling the fire in an unfortunate helicopter crash. Elliott from Porterville, CA and Andersen from Stateline, NV, we honor you for your bravery and dedication to safety of our community. You will not be forgotten, till Valhalla we met brothers. Semper Fi.

Fillmore and the surrounding areas are at high risk for burn scar flooding. As soon as I hear of the next sandbag filling event, I will let everyone know. Let’s show up as a community and help out our neighbors in a time of great need.

Fliers, Door Hangers, and Yard Signs

We have new fliers, new door hangers, and new yard signs! I had a unique request from a supporter and decided to print a few signs that welcome anyone who might be feeling politically homeless. We have “Republicans For” and “Independents For” yard signs in limited quantities. If you know anyone who is interested in one, invite them to one of our events above so they can come pick one up.
